·       Membership dues are the annual recurring payments a person or family makes to become and remain a part of the Foundation.

·       Unlike a donation, membership dues afford individuals rights and privileges and enjoin them to the organization more meaningfully.

·       Annual dues-paying members are the foundation's lifeblood, fueling its operations and making it more appealing to grant-making organizations.

·       Implementing affordable annual membership dues helps HEF distinguish itself from the previous West Milford education foundation and encourages individuals and families to be more vested in the foundation's governance.

·       Voting members participate in shared governance through their votes, which promotes transparency and accountability necessary for the Foundation's long-term health and stability.

·       Membership dues also help HEF fulfill its mission to raise funds and advocate for additional resources for West Milford Public Schools.

As a reminder, annual membership dues have been priced to be low-barrier to entry. We want lots of members!
